I'm Mike Long and peeking over my shoulder is one of our family's favourite doves, Voyager Gerhardt ("Voyager" for short. You can read more about her in the 2nd post of the Blog).
"My White Doves" is the outflow of a hobby that I developed in 2009; breeding & flying pure white homing pigeons. So while they are technically pigeons, you'll see me refer to them as doves mainly because of their pure white colour.
My purpose for the site is two-fold:
- To serve as an information hub for those curious about my experience of the hobby
